A global leader in energy storage, Skeleton Technologies products are groundbreaking, making them leaders in the energy storage industry. Their ultracapacitors have seen them win awards, and walk away with a spot on the 2017 Global Cleantech 100 list.

Strategy:

Skeleton approached us with the challenges of:

  • Improving SEO
  • Designing a Mobile Responsive Website
  • Creating a Steady Flow of Leads that allow salespeople to focus on large opportunities while creating an online store to process smaller transactions
  • Position Skeleton to look bigger than their competition whilst they were in start-up phase

The company also needed a website approach that could both support and pre-empt their projected rapid growth. They needed a website that gave them the freedom to update and modify at will.

All the signs pointed to Growth-Driven Design being the right solution for them.

In line with our GDD process, we started working on a strategy which lead to the build of their launchpad website. After going live with the website quickly, we entered the Continuous Improvement phase which entailed optimising and evolving the website on a monthly basis, based on experiments and user behaviour. This had a positive effect on lead generation with a 167% growth in leads.

Based on our findings, we integrated the website with Ecwid so that visitors were able to make online purchases.

Results Summary:

Skeleton's redesign was a huge success. The site grew from a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) to a sales giant in a very short time thanks to effective GDD and efficient Inbound Marketing. The online store not only resulted in increased sales, but aided in streamlining the purchasing process and improving the overall customer experience. Suffice to say Skeleton Tech salespeople were more than pleased with the result and the business was able to prove ROI.
